BRUNSWICK, Maine – The No. 23 Franklin & Marshall women's squash team (3-11) was defeated, 9-0, by No. 17 Bowdoin (9-5) in Saturday's contest. The Polar Bears rolled through the individual matches with sweeps in six of the contests.
Zarine Gidwaney won the first game of the No. 2 match, 11-7, to jump out to an early 1-0 lead. However, her opponent claimed three-straight games to win the match.
Mia Todd (No. 3) and
Rory Dasher (No. 6) each won the third game in their respective matches to make the scores, 2-1. Despite the late surge, both Diplomats were held off in the overall match.
No. 23 Franklin & Marshall returns to action on Saturday, February 22 with a doubleheader. The Diplomats take on Dickinson at 10:30 a.m., followed by Haverford at 1:00 p.m.
