LANCASTER, Pa. – The No. 23 Franklin & Marshall women's squash team (5-12) came away with an 8-1 victory over No. 24 Saint Lawrence Sunday afternoon at the Mayser Center Squash Courts. The Diplomats won the top two matches, before falling in the No. 3 match. F&M secured the win by winning the last six matches, with three of the victories coming by default.

Gurlin Kaur (No. 1),
Tatum Long (No. 5) and
Rory Dasher (No. 6) all swept their respective opponents to give the Diplomats an early advantage. Gidwaney celebrated her Senior Day with a 3-2 victory in the No. 2 slot. Trailing 2-1, Gidwaney won the last two games, 11-8, 12-10 to come out on top in the match.
Ashanti Amastal also earned a 3-2 victory in her match in the No. 4 slot. Tied at 2-2, Amastal downed her opponent, 11-7, in the fifth game to win the overall match.
No. 23 Franklin & Marshall now turns its attention to the College Squash Association Team Championships, starting on February 28 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
