No. 22 Women's Squash Swept by No. 19 Dickinson on Final Day of MASC Championships

LANCASTER, Pa. – The No. 22 Franklin & Marshall women's squash team (3-8) was defeated by No. 19 Dickinson (10-10), 9-0, in the final match of the Mid-Atlantic Squash Conference (MASC) Championships Sunday afternoon. With the loss, the Diplomats placed sixth in the tournament.

Franklin & Marshall fought hard the entire match, but couldn't earn a win as the Red Devils kept the Diplomats off the scoreboard. Tatum Long jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the No. 5 match, but her opponent earned three-straight wins, 11-9, 11-6, 11-2, to claim the match. Mia Todd led 2-1 in the No. 3 match, but her opponent narrowly won the last two games, 11-8, 11-7, to take the match-victory. Zarine Gidwaney (No. 2) and Rory Dasher (No. 6) both battled in their respective matches, but came up short in 3-1 losses.

No. 22 Franklin & Marshall looks to bounce back when it travels to Maine on Friday, facing Colby at 5:00 p.m.
