GREENWOOD, Ind. – The Franklin & Marshall women's basketball team had four members recognized on the 2025 College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA) Academic All-District® Team on Tuesday. Lizzie Neville and Kennedy Wilburn earned spots on the Academic All-District® Team for the second time in their respective careers, while Kayla McCrea and Mackenzie Ward were recognized for the first time in their careers.

The 2025 Academic All-District® Men's Basketball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes basketball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

Appearing in all 25 games this season, McCrea averaged 20.7 minutes per contest and 3.8 points per game. McCrea finished the season shooting 31.1 percent from the field and 75 percent from the charity stripe. The sophomore tied her career-high in points twice this season with 10 points against Swarthmore (12/4/24) and McDaniel (2/1/25).

Neville played in every game with 24 starts at guard, averaging a team-high 32.1 minutes per game this season. Neville finished the season averaging 12.7 points, 4.4 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.6 steals per game. The junior also shot 36.9 percent from the field, 29.4 percent from beyond the arc and a Centennial-leading 85.1 percent from the free throw line. Neville highlighted her year by earning her first-career double-double (10 points, 10 assists) against Swarthmore (12/4/24) and later reached a new career-high in points with 27 against Ursinus (1/22/25).

Ward appeared in all 25 games, averaging 16.8 minutes off the bench. Ward averaged 3.4 points and 2.6 rebounds, while shooting 31.7 percent from the field during the season. The sophomore notched two double-figure games with 10 points against York (Pa.) (11/19/24) and 11 points against Muhlenberg (2/12/25).

Starting in all 25 games during her senior year, Wilburn averaged 28.2 minutes per contest. Wilburn came up just short of averaging a double-double for the season as she led the Diplomats with 12.8 points and 9.4 rebounds per game. The Marlton, New Jersey native ended her career with 17 doubles-doubles and eight double-doubles coming during her senior campaign.

Franklin & Marshall ended the year 15-10, reaching 15 wins for the first time since the 2011-12 season. F&M also earned nine wins at the Mayser Center, which is the most home victories since the 2007-08 season.
