LANCASTER, Pa. – The Franklin & Marshall women's tennis team (11-5, 6-2 CC) earned its third sweep of the season as it defeated Ursinus (11-10, 2-6 CC), 7-0, in the 2025 regular season finale.
The Diplomats began the after with
Jenna Harrison and
Mackenzie Sherman defeating their opponent in the No. 1 doubles match, 6-1, for their sixth win together this season. The duo of
Lorena Saavedra and
Natalie Untermeyer blanked their opponent in the No. 2 match, 6-0, for their second win together this year. The pairing of
Presley Daggett and
Kakie Colclough notched their seventh win together this spring as they won the No. 3 match, 6-2.
Franklin & Marshall continued its success into the singles matches with Harrison winning the No. 1 match, 6-1, 6-0, for her third victory of the year. Untermeyer followed with a 6-0, 6-0 win in the No. 2 match for her 12th victory of the season. Sherman defeated her opponent in the No. 3 match, 6-1, 6-0, for her ninth individual win this spring.
Sophia Rhazali overpowered her opponent, 6-2, 6-1, in the No. 4 match for her 12th singles' win of the year.
Rebecca Bellick claimed her 11th win this spring as she shutout her opponent, 8-0, in the No. 5 match. Colclough finished the day with an 8-2 victory in the No. 6 match for her third win of the season.
Franklin & Marshall now gears up for the Centennial Conference Tournament with a road match to start. The Diplomats play at Haverford on Friday in the semifinals. A start time has yet to be determined.
