LANCASTER, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall head men's and women's tennis coach Clay Allen has announced that he is stepping down as head coach to accept the same position at Alvernia University.

Named the Diplomats' head coach prior to the 2024-25 season, Allen maintained the Diplomats' standing as one of the top programs at the conference, regional, and national level. Both teams advanced to the Centennial Conference Tournament this spring, with the women's team making its first-ever appearance in the championship match. Both the men's and women's programs were ranked inside the top 40 by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) during the spring season.
