LANCASTER, Pa. – The Franklin & Marshall football team has announced the return of Chilamo Taylor '24 as an assistant coach for the upcoming season. Taylor returns to his alma mater as the wide receivers coach.

Taylor brings vast experience to F&M as he spent time on both sides of the ball as a running back, linebacker, and defensive back during his career, while also playing a significant role on special teams. His impact on the field helped the Diplomats to a winning record during each of his seasons in Lancaster, highlighted by Centennial-MAC Bowl Series victories during the 2021 and 2023 seasons.

Taylor graduated from Franklin & Marshall with a bachelor's degree in business, Japanese, and history. Following his graduation, he traveled to Japan for a year where he received a prestigious Princeton in Asia Fellowship. During that time, Taylor played as both a defensive back and running back in the X-League, which is the largest football league in that country.

Football returns to campus next week to begin its fall practices. The season opener is set for Thursday, September 4 at 7 p.m. at Lebanon Valley.
