GLENSIDE, Pa. – The (RV) Franklin & Marshall women's soccer team (4-1-1) played Arcadia (3-1-2) to a scoreless draw in Wednesday evening's non-conference matchup. The Diplomats peppered the Knights' net with 21 total shots, but couldn't find the back of the cage - notching their first tie of the 2025 campaign.
The Diplomats narrowly outshot Arcadia, 6-4, in the first half. However, F&M ramped up its offensive attack with 15 shot attempts in the final 45 minutes of play. Franklin & Marshall had multiple chances just 10 minutes into the final period, starting with a shot from
Colleen Ferrarese that was saved by the Arcadia goalkeeper in the 55th minute.
Emerson McDonald followed by firing the Diplomats' next three shot attempts, but all three chances were turned away. Seven of Franklin & Marshall's shot attempts in the second half were on target, but neither team could break the scoreless tie.
10 of F&M's 21 shot attempts were on goal as McDonald led the game with seven shot attempts in the contest.

Lillian Williams followed with two shots each in the match. F&M as a team generated nine corner kick opportunities and held Arcadia to just two in the game. Goalkeeper
Lucy Fleming made just three saves to pick up her second clean sheet of the season.
(RV) Franklin & Marshall returns to Tylus Field on Saturday to begin Centennial Conference play against Muhlenberg, starting at noon.
