GENEVA, N.Y. – The No. 27 Franklin & Marshall women's squash team (3-8) get back into the win column as it ended the weekend with an 8-1 victory on the road at No. 26 William Smith (0-10) on Sunday. The Diplomats cruised through the individual matches, sweeping the top eight bouts to earn their third team victory of the season.
Mia Todd (No. 3) and
Noelle Bardorf (No. 4) found success early as both Diplomats swept their respective opponents to notch their fourth individual wins of the year.
Destiny Ponce also claimed her fourth victory of the season as she downed her opponent, 3-0, in the No. 8 slot.
Ashanti Amastal swept her opponent in the No. 1 match as she improved to three individual wins this winter.
Joey Ho (No. 5),
Lavanya Seshasayee (No. 6), and
Elisabeth Stout (No. 7) all blanked their opponents in 3-0 sweeps to also earn their third individual victories this season.
Rory Dasher wrapped up the day for F&M as she defeated her opponent, 3-0, in the No. 2 slot for her second victory this season.
No. 27 Franklin & Marshall now turns its attention to the CSA Individual Championships, starting on Friday.
