Dunnigan Earns Fourth Career Athlete of the Week Honor

1/20/2026 5:26:00 PM

LANCASTER, Pa. – For the fourth time in her career, Lauren Dunnigan has been named the Centennial Conference's Track Athlete of the Week. The junior has now won the award three times during the indoor season and once in her outdoor career.

Dunnigan's latest honor comes after she had a great start to her spring semester as she won the 60 meter dash, 200 meter dash, and 60 meter hurdles at the Kaye & JJ Smith Invitational. Dunnigan's 60 dash time of 7.75 seconds broke her own school record and ranks 18th in Division III this season. Her 200 meter winning time of 26.56 seconds ranks second in F&M history. During her most recent competition, Dunnigan was the runner-up in the 60 meter hurdles and placed fifth in the 60 meter dash at Catholic.

Dunnigan is the reigning Centennial Conference Outstanding Performer of the Meet from the 2025 season where she also made her NCAA debut in the 60 meter hurdles - an event that she also owns the school record. She and the rest of her teammates will have the chance to compete at home this Saturday when the Diplomats host the Coach I Invitational inside the Alumni Sports & Fitness Center.
