WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Franklin & Marshall women's track & field team had eight different scoring performances for a total of 32 points at the Catholic Track & Field Classic on Saturday. Those 32 points helped the Diplomats place seventh in the final team standings.
Lauren Dunnigan was the team's highest placing individual as she was the runner-up in the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 9.31 during the preliminaries. Dunnigan was also fifth in the 60 meter dash as she ran identical times of 7.91 seconds during the preliminary and final rounds.
Hayden Adams and Max McCoy also scored in two different events. Adams was fifth in the pole vault as she cleared 2.90 meters. She cleared 1.42 meters in the high jump to place sixth in that event. McCoy was fifth in the shot put with her best throw measuring at 10.84 meters. She followed that up with a sixth-place finish in the weight throw as her season-best mark of 12.48 meters was the seventh-best individual performance in school history. Amanda Imhauser added another top-five performance to the field events as her best long jump of 4.91 meters was fifth among all competitors in that event.
The other scoring performance on the track came when the distance medley relay team of Tara Silverman, Abby Bachman, Jordyn Collie, and Annalise Kauffman finished in a time of 12:46.64 to place seventh.
