LANCASTER, Pa. – The Franklin & Marshall women's cross country and track & field teams were honored with the maximum of six student-athletes on the College Sports Communicators academic all-district team. This award honors individuals who have excelled both academically and athletically as recipients must be at least a sophomore, rank in the top 50 in the region in at least one event, and have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5.

Senior Anna Atticks received this recognition for the second time in her career after strong performances in the steeplechase with a career personal best of 12:09.53. That time ranks her sixth in program history for the event. Atticks was the 12th-place finisher at the conference championship this season. A joint studies major, Atticks previously received this recognition following the 2023-24 season.

A school record holder in six different events between indoor and outdoor track & field, Lauren Dunnigan received this honor for the second time in as many eligible seasons. A former national qualifier in the 60 meter hurdles, Dunnigan holds the majority of the sprint and hurdle school records at F&M where she is a joint studies major.

Multi-event athlete Amanda Imhauser earned academic all-district status for the second consecutive season. She graduates as the school record holder in the pentathlon while ranking second in the heptathlon. She was the conference silver medalist in both of those events this year and graduated from the College with a degree in psychology.

Annalise Kauffman received academic all-district distinction for the third time in her career as a senior. Starting off her year with a 41st-place finish at the cross country regional championship, Kauffman was a two-time All-Centennial Conference and all-region honoree throughout her track career. A local standout from Lancaster Catholic High School, Kauffman graduated with a degree in government.

Max McCoy made an immediate impact as a transfer in the throwing events and received academic all-district recognition following her sophomore season. After just one season with the Diplomats, McCoy holds top 10 marks in school history across five different events between the indoor and outdoor seasons. She took home the bronze medal in the shot put at the conference's outdoor championship meet.

Mackenzie Ward was named to the academic all-district team in basketball during the winter and received her second such honor for track & field this spring. The school record holder in the javelin, Ward won her third conference title in that event this spring. A dual sport athlete with the Diplomats, Ward is majoring in biology.
