WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Franklin & Marshall women's track & field team headed to Army West Point on Thursday afternoon for a last chance qualifier. The Diplomats had nine entrants in the meet and came away with seven top-five individual finishes.

Two individuals who already had regional qualifying marks, but once again hit those standards were Lauren Dunnigan and Mackenzie Ward. Dunnigan finished in 12.51 seconds during the preliminary heats and placed fifth during the finals. Dunnigan later placed fourth in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 19.29 seconds. Ward - the Centennial Conference Champion - posted another regional qualifying mark in the javelin with a five-place finish at 36.56 meters.

Hayden Adams posted a pair of top five finishes, highlighted by a personal best in the pole vault as she cleared 3.25 meters. Adams would also clear 1.55 meters in the high jump. Lillian Williams (1:09.71 in 400 hurdles) and Amanda Imhauser (5.06 meters in long jump) both came away with fourth-place showings. Jordyn Collie (2:23.53 in 800 meters) and Max McCoy (11.81m in shot put) concluded their days with top 10 performances.

Next up for women's track & field will be the All-Atlantic Regional Championships that run from Wednesday, May 13 through Thursday, May 14. That championship event will be hosted by Ursinus and is the final competition on the Diplomats' schedule before the national championship meet.
