LANCASTER, Pa.- For the first time since the 2017-18 season, the No. 25 Franklin & Marshall men's basketball team (15-2, 4-1 Centennial Conference) has earned a spot in the D3hoops.com Men's Basketball Top 25, earning the 25th spot in this week's poll.
This marks the first time that the Diplomats earned a ranked spot in the poll under head coach
Nick Nichay. The last time F&M was named to the poll was the final poll in the 2017-18 season, when Diplomats earned No. 20 following a NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 appearance.
This marks the 151st overall appearance in the poll for the Diplomats. The program's highest mark is No. 3 from week five of the 2001-02 season.Â
The 2025-26 Franklin & Marshall Diplomats begin the week with a 15-2, 4-1 Centennial Conference record. Across Division III, F&M maintains the seventh-best scoring defense, allowing 60.8 points per game, while they have the country's seventh-best rebound margin at 10.0. The Diplomats enter the week among five sides level for the best record in the Centennial Conference at 4-1. 2025-26 featured a 12-game winning streak from November 11 through January 10, tying for the 13th-best winning streak in program history, leveling the late-season winning streak a season ago that propelled the Diplomats to a Centennial Conference Championship and into the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2017-18.
F&M continues Centennial Conference action by hosting Washington College today, Wednesday January 27, at 7:00 p.m.
