YORK, Pa.- The Franklin & Marshall men's golf team swept individual and team honors, as David McNamara's one-under Tuesday round earned him his first collegiate medal, and the team erased a seven-point deficit to hosts York to claim the York Fall Invitational.

After starting the round in a tie for fourth place, McNamara posted a one-under 70, totaling five birdies across the round with a one-under front nine (34) and an even-par back nine (36). His two-round score of 144 (+2) was just one stroke ahead of Max Silverman's 145 (+3), who claimed second place. Silverman also carded a 70 on Tuesday, bouncing back from a one-over par front nine (36) with a two-under back nine (34) that included four birdies. Sebastian Botero posted a second-round score of 76 (+5) following his 73 (+2) on Monday, tying for fifth place with a score of 149 (+7). Wayne He improved on an opening-round 79 (+8) with a 76 (+5) today, climbing seven spots to tie for 19th place. James Castle climbed three spots in the individual standings, following up an opening-round score of 83 (+12) with a 78 (+7), finishing with a score of 161 (+19) to tie for 32nd.

Troy Gregg and Pablo Rodriguez returned as individual entries in the tournament. Gregg followed up a 76 (+5) yesterday with a 77 (+6) to tie for 14th with a score of 153 (+11). Rodriguez climbed ten spots in the standings, improving from an 80 (+9) in the first round with a four-over par 75 (+4) today to tie for 19th.

After starting Tuesday six strokes behind York, F&M ended the tournament six strokes clear of the Spartans following a score of 292 (+8) in the second round, winning the tournament with a score of 593 (+25).

The Diplomats will return to competition in the spring of 2027. The full schedule will be released at a later date, but the Diplomats will look to retain their Centennial Conference title at the three-round 2027 Centennial Conference Men's Golf Championship from the Waynesboro Country Club. A repeat championship would send the team to the 2027 NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championship from the Kingsmill Resort in Williamsburg, Va.
