LANCASTER, Pa.- After earning medalist honors at the York Fall Invitational, senior men's golfer David McNamara claimed the Centennial Conference Men's Golfer of the Week award.

McNamara took home the individual title and led the Diplomats to the team title at the York Fall Invitational hosted by York (Pa.) at the Country Club of York. After posting an opening round of three-over par 74, McNamara climbed from fourth place to the top of the leaderboard with a one-under 70 on day two. He finished one shot ahead of teammate Max Silverman for medalist honors, with both he and Silverman carding the only under par rounds (both shooting 70) of the tournament in round two. The Diplomats captured the team crown by six shots over the host Spartans.

McNamara is the second Diplomat to earn the Men's Golfer of the Week after Sebastian Botero was named Co-Men's Golfer of the Week on September 29 following his tie for third place at The Northeast Elite.

The men's golf team concluded the fall schedule at the York Fall Invitational and will return in the spring.
