Chloe Wiedman earned Centennial Conference Player of the Week honors following a week where she led the Diplomats' defense by averaging 5.86 digs/set.Â
Wiedman led F&M's back row in a 2-0 week for the Diplomats, averaging 5.85 digs per set (41 total digs) with eight assists plus one kill. In Wednesday's four-set win against Elizabethtown she recorded a career-high 25 digs with six assists, before tallying 16 digs and two assists in Saturday's straight-set sweep of Haverford to begin Centennial Conference play.
Wiedman is averaging the fourth-highest digs/set rate (4.19) in the Centennial Conference so far in 2026, while F&M as a side rank second (17.70) in the category.
The Diplomats (8-6, 1-0 Centennial Conference) play their second Centennial Conference match of 2026 when they host McDaniel on Wednesday, October 7, at 7 p.m.
