CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The No. 23 Franklin & Marshall women's squash team (5-11) fell to No. 4 Stanford (8-2), 9-0, in its second match of the Gaynor Cup at the Mid-Atlantic Squash Conference (MASC) Championships Saturday morning. The Cardinal jumped in front early and presented a relentless approach on day two of the tournament as Stanford swept all nine individual duals.
Mia Todd (No. 3) and
Joey Ho (No. 5) both earned five points in the opening game of their respective matches. Despite the back-and-forth first frames, Stanford took control of both matches to jump out to an early team lead.
Rory Dasher put up five points in the third game of the No. 2 match. However, Stanford's Mariana Narvaez Dardon held off the Diplomat to complete the 3-0 win.
No. 23 Franklin & Marshall wraps up the MASC Championships on Sunday, facing No. 25 Dickinson at 2:00 p.m.
