LANCASTER, Pa. – Following its season-opening 17-7 victory at Lebanon Valley on Saturday, the Franklin & Marshall men's lacrosse team swept the Centennial Conference Player of the Week honors in recognition of the team's effort. Sophomore Ben Dale won the weekly award after his first game in a Diplomats uniform, while reigning Centennial Conference Defensive Player of the Year Teddy Scarborough picked up right where he left off a season ago.

Dale totaled eight points in the game, with three goals and five assists. His five helpers were just one shy of top-10 single game performance in school history. Dale's back-to-back goals during the second quarter provided the eventual game-winner for the Diplomats before he capped his hat trick during the fourth quarter as he needed just five shots to record the hat trick.

Teddy Scarborough stopped 16 of the 23 shots that he faced during the win at LVC. The junior posted a .696 save percentage and collected a pair of ground balls during the victory. The weekly honor is the fourth of Scarborough's career after he earned that same recognition three times last season in as a full-time starter.

Men's lacrosse opens its home schedule on Tuesday with a 7 p.m. game against Messiah that is set for 7 p.m. The Diplomats will also be at home this Saturday for a noon face-off against York (Pa.).
