LANCASTER, Pa.- The Franklin & Marshall women's swimming team began the 2026 Centennial Conference Swimming Championship by competing in the 200 medley relay and 800 freestyle relay on Thursday evening.Â
The Diplomats logged the program's second-best time in the 800 freestyle relay and sit in fifth place with 72 points after the first session.
Delphine Brown,
Ava Tseng,
Grace Kovach, and
Madi Bickford claimed fifth place in the 800 freestyle relay A Final, and the their time of 7:47.31 now ranks as the second-best mark in program history behind the time of 7:47.02 set in 2014 by Rebecca Daen '14, Maggie Johns '14, Alexia Tomlinson '14, and Katie Grant '15.   Â

Janelle King, and Bickford earned sixth place in the 200 medley relay final.
F&M is back at the Kunkel Aquatic Center to compete in the 500 freestyle, 200 IM, 50 freestyle, and 400 medley relay on Friday. Preliminaries are slated for 10:00 a.m. while finals will start at 6:00 p.m.
