LANCASTER, Pa. – The No. 35 Franklin & Marshall men's tennis team (10-5, 3-1 CC) cruised past Messiah (7-7), 7-0, Friday afternoon in the Diplomats' final non-conference match of the season. The win marked the second-consecutive 7-0 victory for F&M and the seventh sweep for the Diplomats this spring.

Zac Ashtiani and Luke Brodsky continued their dominance, earning a 6-3 win in No. 1 doubles to claim their 10th victory together this season. The duo of Gonzalo Gentou and Soren Rudin-Aulenbach raced past their opponents in the No. 2 match, 6-3, to pick up their eighth win of the year. Nate Arnold and Tucker Chesman completed the sweep in doubles with a 6-0 victory in the No. 3 match for their first win together this spring.

Playing No. 1 singles for the first time this year, Samuel Donnelly downed his opponent, 6-4, 6-3, to earn his 13th victory of the season. Jack Gelman followed with a 6-4, 6-2 victory in No. 2 singles to claim his fifth win of the spring. Gentou eased past his opponent in the No. 3 match, 6-1, 6-0, to earn his sixth win of the 2025-26 campaign. Ian Alonso also tallied his sixth win of the year as he maintained his perfect record with a 6-1, 6-0 win in No. 4 singles. Campbell Gervais downed his opponent, 6-1, 6-1, in the No. 5 match to improve to 2-0 on the season. Chesman wrapped up the match-sweep with a 6-0, 6-2 victory in No. 6 singles for his fourth win of the year.

No. 35 Franklin & Marshall hosts its final home match of the regular season on Wednesday, battling Dickinson at 4:00 p.m.
