Kate DelGrippo claimed Centennial Conference Player of the Week honors for the first time following a week where she posted a 1.616 OPS with two home runs and eight RBI plus a five-inning complete game where she allowed no runs against Gettysburg.
DelGrippo delivered at the plate and in the circle in the last week, slashing .462/.462/1.154 (1.616 OPS) with two home runs, three runs scored and eight RBI. Her best game of the week came in F&M's 9-1 win over Gettysburg. She went 3-for-3 with two home runs, 6 RBIs and two runs scored while also pitching a five-inning complete game with no earned runs on four hits and two walks with three strikeouts.
F&M (14-18, 6-6 Centennial Conference) hosts Ursinus on Tuesday, April 21, at 3:00 p.m. to begin the final week of the regular season. The Diplomats will vie to secure up the program's first Centennial Conference Tournament appearance since 2017's championship run.
