LANCASTER, Pa. – Six Diplomats were named to the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA) Men's Academic All-District® At-Large Team, which recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the classroom and in competition. James Conway (wrestling), Ben Dale (men's lacrosse), Mason Leiphart (wrestling), Jack Luviano (men's lacrosse), David McNamara (men's golf), Josh Palmucci (wrestling),
James Conway capped one of the most decorated careers in the history of the Division I wrestling program as he earned the No. 4 seed at the national tournament and finished in the round of the 12 at the national championship. The College's first-ever Elite 90 Award recipient at the 2024 NCAA Championship, Conway was named both the outstanding athlete and outstanding scholar in the graduating senior class. He accomplished many program firsts, including his individual titles at the Keystone Classic, Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational, and David H. Lehman '68 F&M Open.
Ben Dale was named an honorable mention USILA All-American in his first season with the Diplomats. Dale led the men's lacrosse team with 78 points for the eighth-highest single-season total in program history. He finished with 30 goals and 48 assists, tying him for the fifth-highest single-season assist total in school history. Dale finished with at least three points during 13 of his 16 starts, recording six hat tricks.
Mason Leiphart capped his wrestling career as a four-time NWCA Scholar-American. Leiphart posted a 17-14 record as a senior that was highlighted by a 7-1 record in dual meets. A four-year starter in the lineup, Leiphart graduates as the school record holder for technical falls in a career, with 30 such results among his 79 career victories. Leiphart was an incredible 32-3 in dual meets during his career while finishing 11th all-time in career victories. Leiphart finished eighth at the EIWA Championships as a multiple time EIWA place winner.
Jack Luviano received honorable mention USILA All-American status during his senior season. Luviano scored a team-high 34 goals for men's lacrosse while adding eight assists for a total of 42 points. Luviano scored at least one goal during 14 of his 16 starts, tallying seven hat tricks throughout the season. He excelled in Centennial Conference action with hat tricks against Ursinus, McDaniel, Muhlenberg, Swarthmore, and Gettysburg – finishing the year with a season-high five goals versus the Bullets. Luviano ranked third among all Centennial players in scoring during conference contests.
David McNamara was one of the regulars in the men's golf lineup as he helped lead the Diplomats back to the Centennial Conference Championship for the fifth time in six seasons. McNamara placed 20th at the conference championship and finished at 8-over par at the Division III National Championship. McNamara's best individual finish of the season came when he placed fourth at the Swarthmore Spring Invitational with a three-round score of 221 (+8).
Josh Palmucci was recognized as an NWCA Scholar All-American for third time in his career during this past wrestling season. Palmucci posted a record of 14-12 at the team's started at 165 lbs. Among his victories were four major decisions, three technical falls, and one pin. Palmucci went 7-3 during the team's dual meet schedule and won his opening match at the EIWA Championship.
