.COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.- A trio of Franklin & Marshall field hockey players in Megan Dadio, Hannah Fitzgerald, and Caitlin Hoover earned a spot on the 2026 National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Watchlist powered by Performance Sports Events (PSE).

.The 2026 NFHCA Watchlist recognizes field hockey student-athletes who have demonstrated a high level of achievement and are considered among those with strong potential for NFHCA All-Region and All-American consideration this season.

Student-athletes were nominated by their NFHCA member coaches and must have earned qualifying field hockey recognition within the previous two years. Qualifying honors include NFHCA All-Region, NFHCA All-America, All-Conference, Senior Nexus Championship selection, NCAA All-Tournament Team, or selection to a U.S. National or international team roster.

This marks the second time that Hoover was named to the Watchlist, while Dadio and Fitzgerald make their first appearance.

Megan Dadio followed up a honorable mention selection in 2024 with a spot on the All-Centennial Conference First Team in 2025. The midfielder totaled six goals and six assists for 18 points in 2025, ranking tied for 11th in assists per game (0.32), tied for 19th in points per game (0.96), and tied for 24th in goals per game (0.32) among Centennial Conference players. She had six games with multiple points and scored the game-winning goal in F&M's 4-0 win over Avernia (Sept. 17).

Hannah Fitzgerald's consistent offensive presence earned her a spot on the All-Centennial Conference Second Team, marking her first all-conference selection. The junior forward/midfield logged nine goals and ten assists for 28 points in 2025. She ranked second in the Centennial Conference in assists per game (0.53), putting her tied for 30th nationally, third in points per game (1.47), and tenth in goals per game (0.47). Her ten assists tied for the fourth-most in a single season in program history, while the 0.53 assists per game mark is tied for sixth in program history. She had two multi-goal games, seven multi-point games, three game-winning assists and she opened 2025 with a run of eight-consecutive games with at least a point.

Caitlin Hoover's 2025 campaign was one of the best offensive seasons in Franklin & Marshall field hockey history, which led to a selection to the NFHCA Division III All-American First Team. Ahead of that honor, she also earned her second NFHCA All-Region V First-Team appearance and was named the Centennial Conference Offensive Player of the Year with a second consecutive season on the conference's first team. Across Division III, she ranked sixth in goals per game (1.28) and seventh in points per game (2.94), leading the Centennial Conference in both categories plus game-winning goals (7). In program history, it was the second-best goals per game and points per game mark behind Becky Willert's 2011 campaign (1.33 GPG, 3.00 PPG). Her 56 points were the third-most in a single season, while her 24 goals ranked fourth. Across 19 games played, she scored at least a point in 16 games, with 14 multi-point games and eight-multi goal games. The season included a run of 15 consecutive games with at least a point. Hoover recorded three hat-tricks in 2025, breaking the program's career hat-trick record in the process with five total. She collected the Centennial Conference Offensive Player of the Week Award four times. It's the fourth time F&M had won the Offensive Player of the Year award after Erin Coverdale (2017, 18) and Lily Mynott (2019) won the award across three consecutive seasons. Hoover is F&M's 14th player named to the NFHCA All-American First Team, while it's the 20th overall time that a Diplomat was named to the first team. She is the 23rd overall player named an All-American, while it's the 37th time a player from F&M was named an All-American.
