Pat Conrad joined the Franklin & Marshall football staff in 2018, bringing with him more than 25 years of coaching experience to Lancaster. He most notably coached at Red Lion High School for 15 seasons, including nine as the head coach. During his tenure, Red Lion made the playoffs on six occasions and ranked as high as No. 8 in the state. Conrad also had stints as an assistant at Penn Manor and head coach at Carlisle.

Pat Conrad recently concluded his fourth season with the Franklin & Marshall football team as the running backs coach. Making a huge impact on the team, Conrad oversaw the F&M running game that helped Keshon Farmer '22 break the school record for career rushing touchdowns (31) despite having only three competitive seasons. The Diplomats led the Centennial Conference in rushing yards per game (191.8) during the 2019 season. Conrad's contributions have also coincided with the team claiming Centennial-MAC Bowl Series victories during each of his years on the sidelines.

Conrad also brings head coaching experience to this role as he has over 30 years of expertise in the Lancaster area. Most notably, Conrad served as the head coach of Red Lion High School for nine of his 15 years on that staff. During that span, Red Lion made the playoffs six times and was ranked as high as No. 8 in the state. He previously served as the head coach at Carlisle High School and as an assistant with Penn Manor High School.

A Centennial Conference graduate of Dickinson, Conrad brings a winning pedigree to the team as he helped lead the Red Devils to four Centennial Conference Championships (1989-92) as a three-year starter. Dickinson made the postseason each year during his playing career was ranked in the top-25 all four seasons.
