LANCASTER, PA -- Midfielder Chris Campbell (Fr., Narberth, PA/Friends Central) put in an assist from forward Brandon Corday (Fr., Morton Grove, IL/Niles Township) at the 66:03 mark as the Franklin & Marshall College men's soccer team defeated Lebanon Valley College 1-0 in non-conference action.

The win improves F&M to 25-1-1 all-time against LVC since their first meeting in 1974 and marks the 11th straight victory by the Diplomats in the series since a win by the Flying Dutchmen in 1989.

Scoreless through the first half, the Diplomats found the back of the net with 20:57 left to play as midfielder Wallace Eisenhauer (Sr., New Castle, DE/Wilmington Christian) crossed a ball to Corday who attempted to finish the pass before dishing an assist to Campbell in the left corner of the goal mouth for the game-winning score.

Franklin & Marshall goalie Ed Stelz (So., Kew Gardens, NY/Loomis Chaffee) made seven saves on nine shots for his third shutout of the season, while LVC's John Mentzer turned away nine of F&M's 15 shots.

Franklin & Marshall College (6-3-2, 2-2-1 CC) will continue the season at 1:00 p.m. on October 16 at home versus Ursinus College in the second of a three game home stand.
