LANCASTER, PA - Defender Dan Mills (Sr., Hershey, PA/Hershey) connected on a penalty kick at 24:37 for the game-winning goal as the Franklin & Marshall College men's soccer team built a 2-0 first half to hold off Ursinus College 2-1.
The Diplomats opened the scoring at 7:53 as Chris Walters (Fr., Winslow, ME/Winslow) finished a serve from Alex Sanchez-Sierra (Sr., Tangier, Morocco/American School of Tangier) inside the right goal post. Less than seventeen minutes later, the Diplomats earned a penalty shot as Mills buried a shot past Ursinus goalie Brian Berkowitz inside the left post as Franklin & Marshall carried a 2-0 lead into halftime.
