LANCASTER, PA -- Alex Shuptar (So., Philadelphia, PA/Kents Hill) scored on a penalty shot at the 43:317 mark for the go-ahead score and Jose Caballe (Jr., Pittsburgh, PA/Kiski School) tacked on a score off an assist from Mike Boyd (So., Naples, FL/Barron Collier) at 53:24 as the Franklin & Marshall College men's soccer team defeated Haverford College 2-1 in Centennial Conference play.
The game ended F&M's streak of 377:17 minutes of scoreless soccer at home as Glenn Antkowiak scored off a direct kick at the 87:17 mark for the 2-1 final.
In goal, Ed Stelz (So., Kew Gardens, NY/Loomis Chaffee) made two saves to earn his third of the season, while Alec Aramanda stopped 12 shots in the loss.
