LANCASTER, PA - Forward Colton Bangs headed in a goal off a cross from Ladule Lako Lo Sarah at the 82:40 mark for the game's only goal as the Swarthmore College Garnet held off Franklin & Marshall College 1-0 in men's soccer action at Baker Field.

The Garnet dominated the game statistically out shooting F&M 13-3 while goalie Ruben Heyman-Kantor did not face a shot on goal as Swarthmore improved to 9-1 on the season, 4-0 in Centennial Conference play.

For the Diplomats, goalie Ed Stelz (Jr., Kew Gardens, NY/Loomis Chaffee) made two saves in 84:40 as Franklin & Marshall evened its record at 3-3-3, 2-2 in Centennial Conference play.

Franklin & Marshall will continue the season on October 8 at home versus Gettysburg College. Game time is set for 1:00 p.m.
