WEST PALM BEACH, FL - Kelly Cassels (So., Downingtown, PA/Great Valley) scored five goals, while Alexis O'Meara (Sr., Annapolis, MD/Severn School) tallied four goals and six assists as the #16 Franklin & Marshall College women's lacrosse team defeated Keene State University 16-2 in non-conference spring break women's lacrosse action.

Historically, O'Meara raised her career totals to 148 goals and 91 assists for 239 points as she surpassed Maria Gaydos '88 (88) and Kara Silberg '98 (90) for fifth in assists in program history.

The Diplomats wasted little time in taking the lead as F&M posted a 9-1 halftime lead before outscoring the Owls 7-1 down the stretch for the 16-2 win.

For F&M, Eileen Keever (Jr., Prospect Park, PA/Interboro) and Akemi Moriuchi (Fr., Moorestown, NJ/Moorestown Friends) each tallied two goals, while Beverly Menghetti (So., Glen Mills, PA/Penncrest), Abby Kaplan (Fr., Bethesda, MD/Bullis) and Brenna Dolphin (So., Wilmington, DE/Archmere Academy) recorded single goals.

In goal, Mandy Gray posted six saves to record the win, while F&M's Kim Pleasants (So., Upper Darby, PA/Upper Darby) tallied five saves with one goal allowed in 35 minutes and Kamissa Mort (Jr., Ashton, MD/Sandy Spring) notched one save with a goal allowed in 25 minutes.

Franklin & Marshall (2-2, 1-0 Centennial Conference) will continue the season on March 23 at Drew University. Game time is set for 4:00 p.m.
