Red hot dips roll over Washington Saturday;

Franklin & Marshall's leading scorer Brandon Corday scored two goals and Matt Melino and Ryan McGonigle added one each to lead the Diplomats to a 4-1 win over Washington College Saturday afternoon at Washington.

Corday also added an assist.

The Diplomats ran their record to 12-1-2, 5-0-1 in Centennial Conference play.

Melino got F&M on the board first in the 14th minute when he took a pass from Corday and drilled it home. Less than two minutes later, Corday lifted the lead to 2-0 on an assist from McGonigle.

Corday scored again in the 27th minute on an unassisted goal when he beat the defenders and scored.

McGonigle made it 4-0 at halftime after Steve Loscalzo threw it in to him and he drilled one in.

Washington scored its goal in the second half in the 58th minute; Frankl Borelli scored on a double assist from Jonnie Jenkins and Conor Halesworth.

Coach Dan Wagner's team, ranked 19th in the nation, will be on the road again Oct. 25th for a Centennial Conference matchup against Dickinson.
