ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. - Amanda Reed's three-pointer in the second minute of the game gave Elizabethtown a 5-2 lead that would not be relinquished as the Blue Jays (12-9) handed Franklin & Marshall its seventh loss in as many games Thursday night. The Jays built a double-digit lead ten minutes in. The Diplomats (5-17) did not pose a threat the rest of the way.

Reed was one of two Blue Jays to finish the game with a 14-point, 10-rebound double-double. Audrey Hitz was the other. Erin Walton scored 16 points and had nine rebounds for the Jays.

F&M got 18 points and 10 rebounds from Brittany Braxton. Amanda Miceli scored 14 and grabbed nine boards.

The Diplomats fell to 5-17 with the loss, while Elizabethtown moved to 12-9. F&M returns to action on Saturday against Washington College.
