Association Individual Championships, Franklin & Marshall's
Ellie Foster (10-11) went 1-1 on the first day of the Holleran Cup.
Foster was swept by Samantha Smith Colby's top player, 9-3, 9-5,
9-0 in the first round, but rebounded with a 9-1, 9-1, 9-5 win over
St. Lawrence's top player, Meg North, in the consolation bracket.
She will face Tufts' No. 3, Stephanie Marx on Saturday at 9:00 a.m.
The Holleran Cup is a double-elimination tournament.
