Franklin & Marshall's Last Game: No. 3 Franklin & Marshall launched an all out assault on the McDaniel cage, winning 19-7 in Centennial Conference (CC) action Wednesday night. The Diplomats (7-0, 2-0 CC) used a total team effort with eight different players scoring. Two players reached milestones for F&M. The Green Terror (5-3, 1-1 CC) countered with a Brittany Baer led offense, but were unable to muster enough firepower to overcome F&M.

Ursinus' Last Game: Nationally-ranked The College of New Jersey darted out to an 8-0 midway through the first half on its way to a 19-4 win over Ursinus on Thursday night in non-conference women's lacrosse action.

The Lions (5-0), who are ranked fourth nationally, got six goals from sophomore midfielder Alison Jaeger on their way to the win. Junior attack Lisa Seldeen had four goals for the Lions. For Ursinus (1-6), junior midfielder Elizabeth Cannon had two goals, while senior midfielder Lisa Clark had a goal and an assist. Freshman midfielder Alyssa Thren had a goal.

The Last Meeting: Shannon Summers registered her 100th career goal, finishing the day with four goals and three assists to lead No. 3 Franklin & Marshall past Ursinus 19-3. Blake Hargest had a 10-point performance with three goals and season-high seven assists, dishing out her fourth helper at the 4:27 mark of the first half to help Summers' hit the milestone.

Jen Pritchard and Meredith Lussier combined for nine goals for the Diplomats (9-1, 5-0 CC). Pritchard scored a game-high five goals, while Lussier went 3-for-3 from 8-meters to finish with four. The Bears (4-7, 2-2 CC) got two goals from Kaitlin Glenn and nine saves by Allison Shicora.

Series Record: Ursinus leads the series 26-10-1. Franklin & Marshall has won each of the last four meetings.

Busy Stretch: Today's game is Franklin & Marshall's fifth in ten days. Sunday's game with Salisbury will mark the sixth in 11.

Halfway Home: Today's game also marks the midway point for Franklin & Marshall's regular season.

The Remaining Unbeatens: 12 Division III women's lacrosse teams remain unbeaten as of today. Only five of those teams have five more games: Franklin & Marshall (7-0), Gettysburg (7-0), Puget Sound (6-0), Stevens Institute of Technology (6-0), and TCNJ (5-0). William Smith and Fredonia State are both 3-0. Alfred, St. Joseph's (Maine) and Worcester Polytechnic Institute are all 2-0. Medaille is 1-0.

New Career Assist Leader: With her second assist in the win over McDaniel, Shannon Summers became the College's career assists leader with 108. She passed Alexis O'Meara who owned the record at 107 since her graduation in 2005. Only three Diplomats have ever reached the 100-assist mark in their careers: Summers, O'Meara and Lauren Paul.

Summers Breezing Up the Charts: Summers has 237 career points, good enough for eighth on the career list. She is five points away from her coach, Lauren Paul, who currently sits seventh with 242. Sarah

A Hat Trick Away: Jen Pricthard needs three goals to tie Lauren Petrella '94 for the career record in goals. If that hat trick were to happen today, Pritchard would also take over sole possession of fourth place in career points, currently occupied by Maria Gaydos '88 (178g, 84a, 262 pts.).

Petrella was inducted into Franklin & Marshall's Hall of Fame back in October. A four-year All-American, Petrella wrapped her career with 221 goals. Petrella still has a solid grip on the career points record. She rolled up 312 in her career – the only F&M player to hit the 300-point plateau. Pritchard is still 52 points away.

Pritchard in Control: Pritchard reached 200 career draw controls in the win over McDaniel. She enters today's game with 201.

Working on 400: Diplomats keeper, Lidia Sanza, became the eighth F&M goalie to reach the 300 saves plateau. The junior needs 42 saves to tie Audra Krupp '99 for seventh on the career saves list. She is 61 away from her predecessor, Kamissa Mort '06 and 77 away from Natasha Faill '91, who passed 383 of the 504 tests thrown her way. 

The Waiting is the Hargest Part: Junior, Blake Hargest, needs three assists to join Summers, O'Meara and Paul in the 100-assist club. She joined the 100-goal club in the win over Union. She became the 12th Diplomat to reach the 200-point plateau in Wednesday's win over McDaniel.

Meisenberg on the Mend: The Diplomats did without Sarah Meisenberg in the McDaniel game on Wednesday. The senior is likely to see little action on Saturday as well. She is four points away from breaking into the top ten at Franklin & Marshall. She owns 204 points in her career for 11th place overall. Kristen Foster '06 is 10th with 208.
