SWARTHMORE, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall's men's soccer team dropped a 4-0 decision to Muhlenberg in the Centennial Conference (CC) semifinals hosted by Swarthmore Saturday afternoon.

The Diplomats wrapped up the 2010 regular season with 9-4-3 overall record and a 5-1-3 conference mark.  

Muhlenberg (11-1-6, 5-1-3 CC) took a 2-0 lead in the first half on a pair of goals from Danny Way. Way scored unassisted after a turnover in the 14th minutes for a 1-0 Mule's lead. He teamed up with Mike Williams ten minutes later when the pair had a two-on-one advantage in the box.

Williams picked up his second assist of the game in the 62nd minute when he passed over to Cody Antonini who blasted the ball to the left corner of the net.  Antonini returned the favor 17 minutes later, feeding Williams for the fourth and final goal.

The Diplomats held a 13-10 advantage on shots and picked up 12 corners to the Mule's four.

Zach Zamek took the loss with three saves for F&M. Jason Daniels picked up the shutout, stopping three shots.

The Mules advance to the CC finals with the win and will take on the winner of Swarthmore and Johns Hopkins.
