Final Results
GETTYSBURG, Pa. – The Franklin &
Marshall women's track and field team took home 19 top-three
finishes to collect 129 points, placing third at the 2010 Little
Three meet hosted by Gettysburg. Gettysburg earned top honors with
152 points, followed by Dickinson in a close second with 134.
The Diplomats garnered most of their points from track events.
In the 200-meter dash, Henley Siegrist and Megan Hunter took first
and second, respectively. Siegrist won with a time of 26.55 seconds
and Hunter ran a close 26.75.
Hunter earned second in the 400-meter dash in 59.78, followed by
Siegrist in 1:01.26. Ariel Lefkovits came in second in the
100-meter with a time of 13.68 seconds. Hannah Westlake finished
fourth in 13.92.
Sheena Crawley dominated the distance events, winning the 800-
and 1,500-meter runs. She finished the 800 in 2:21.5 and the 1,500
in 4:50.54.Caitlin Regan placed second in the 800 with a time of
2:22.40. In the 100-meter hurdles Claire Marshall finished in
second, crossing at 18.79 seconds. Sara Miller came in fifth,
running for 21.12 seconds. Marshall also placed second in the
400-meter hurdles, crossing the line in 1:17.60.
The 4 x 400-meter relay team of Siegrist, Lefkovits, Sylvia
Zohrabian, and Crawley earned first place with a time of 4:17.70.
The squad finished 12.86 seconds ahead of Gettysburg. The 4 x
800-meter relay team made up of Bridget Grogan, Alexis Teevens,
Hunter and Regan finished second with a time of 10:06.41.
In the field, Zohrabian placed second in the pole vault,
clearing a distance of 9' 06.25”. Kristen Marinaccio
finished third in the long and triple jump. She landed with a long
jump distance of 14' 1” and a triple jump distance of
30' 09.25”.
Martha Stefainiak earned two first-place finishes in throwing
events. She threw a second-place distance of 31' 07.50”
in the shot put, then a distance of 122' 09” in the
discus for first place. Stefainiak won the hammer throw with a
distance of 108' 02”.
The Diplomats travel to Richard Stockton for a two-day event on
April 2. Events are scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.
