3/1/2026 7:36:00 PM

LANCASTER, Pa. – The Franklin & Marshall women's indoor track & field team posted its highest Centennial Conference Championship team placement in program history with a third place finish on Sunday. The Diplomats finished the meet with 66 points which is tied for the fourth-most team points at an indoor championship in their program's history.

Six more scoring performances on day two paved the way the team's best-ever indoor finish. Hayden Adams was the team's highest individual placer on Sunday as she took second in the high jump by clearing 1.54 meters. Adams earned second-team All-Centennial Conference honors for the first time in her career with that performance.

Just one day after winning the 5,000 meters, Tara Silverman placed second in the mile with a personal best time of 5:09.52. The Diplomats had two of the top five finishers in that event as Annalise Kauffman also ran a personal best time of 5:15.67. Lauren Dunnigan made her way back onto the podium and earned honorable mention All-CC accolades in the 60 meter dash with a time of 7.82 seconds. The junior was also fourth in the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 9.08 seconds.

Action on the track concluded with the 4x400 relay of Lillian Williams, Avery Canady, Jordyn Collie, and Kauffman finishing fifth in 4:09.48 which is also the seventh fastest time in program history and qualifies them for the regional championship. Collie started her day with a 12th place finish in the 800 meters (2:24.82), which makes her the 10th fastest individual in school history. Williams began her day on the track by recording the ninth-fastest 400 meter time in program history at 1:01.71 during a 13th place finish.

Franklin & Marshall's action in the field events saw Max McCoy place 11th in the shot put as her best throw was marked at 10.65 meters. Amanda Imhauser placed 13th in the long jump (4.60m) just one day after taking second in the pentathlon.

Women's track & field will continue postseason action next weekend when the Diplomats travel to New York for the All-Atlantic Regional Championship. That championship meet will run from Friday, March 6 through Saturday, March 7.
