NEWARK, Del. – Sheena Crawley won the 1,000-meter to pace Franklin & Marshall to a 10th place finish at the Blue Hens' Thomson Invitational at the Delaware Field House Saturday. The Diplomats competed in a field of division II and III competitors with 15 teams competing. East Stroudsburg won the team title.

Crawley ran a 2:58.03 to win the 1,000-meter almost seven seconds faster then second place finisher Robyn Evangelist from Stockton. Evangelist finished at 3:05.02. Katie Allison took fifth in the pole vault with a distance of 9'-4.25". Henley Siegrist finished sixth in the 400-meter dash with a 1:02.94.

The Diplomats return to action on Saturday when F&M travels to Ursinus.
