EWING, N.J. -- Franklin & Marshall dropped a 169-93 decision to the College of New Jersey in a non-conference dual meet Sunday. The Diplomats fell to 1-2 on the season.

The Diplomats won three events with Katherine Grant taking first in both the 1,000 freestyle in 10:51.84 and the 500 freestyle while Rebecca Daen touched first in the 100 free in 55.89. Maggie Johns (11:06.36) and Garland Bartlett (11:14.21) placed second and third behind Grant in the 1,000 free and Olivia Hill was right behind Grant in the 500 freestyle to take second.

F&M finished second in both the 400 medley relay and the 400 free relay. Krista Hollingsworth, Christina Werner, Hill and Daen swam a 4:16.01 in the 400 medley while Hollingsworth, Daen, Jackie Behr and Grant touched at 3:47.08 in the 400 free. Hollingsworth and Hill also placed second and third in the 200 freestyle.

The Diplomats return to the pool Saturday in their Centennial Conference opener hosting Swarthmore at 2 p.m.
