The Franklin & Marshall track team competed at two invitational's this weekend. The Diplomats traveled to Cornell on Saturday for the Robert J. Kane Invite and took a contingent of athletes to Susquehanna Indoor Invitational on Sunday hosted by Susquehanna University.
Sheena Crawley turned in a school record, and a NCAA provisional mark, in the mile at Cornell. Crawley ran a 4:58.27 in the field of 38 runners comprising of athletes from all three divisions. She smashed her old record of 5:11.23, set early this year. Crawley also placed fifth in the 500-meter dash with a 1:25.67.
Henley Siegrist placed second in the 400-meter dash. Siegrist crossed at 1:00.94 in the field of 33 participants.
Caitlin Regan turned in 2:22.13 in the 800-meter. Regan's times placed her fifth out of 49.
F&M dominated the five-kilometer run at the Susquehanna Invite.
Amy Burke and
Lauren Dever took the first two spots while
Margaret Capp placed fifth. Burke turned in a 20:20.47 followed by Dever at 20:29.60. Capp crossed the finish line with a 20:52.22.
