COLUMBUS, Ohio – Sheena Crawley took ninth place at the National Indoor Track & Field Championship meet on Saturday. Crawley finished the mile with a 5:03.91.

Randelle Boots from Wellesley College took the top spot finishing with a 4:57.46. Crawley just missed earning her second All-America certificate, as Melissa Sullivan from Amherst took eighth with a 5:02.00.

Crawley, the Centennial Conference champion in the 800 and mile, was the only Diplomat to qualify for the national meet this season. She qualified for Saturday's finals with a preliminary time of 4:58.56 Friday evening.
