LANCASTER, Pa. -- Franklin & Marshall scored 148 points to beat both Dickinson (131) and Gettysburg (103) and win the Little Three meet Saturday. In the was the first time since 1989 that the Diplomats won the event.
Martha Stefaniak was first in discus with a 119-05 and Bridget McEliece was fifth with a 85-04. Stefaniak later took second in the shot put with a 30-07.75. Arielle Van Wingerden tossed 129-05 to win the javelin and Katie Allison skied 9-11.75 to take first in the pole vault. Sylvia Zohrabian was fourth in the pole vault with a 9-05.75.
Samantha Greenberg was third in the long jump with a 13-08.75 and Van Wingerden finished fourth with a 13-05. Greenberg (30-0) and Van Wingerden (29-02) went third and fourth in the triple jump.
Lauren Dever's was third in the 3,000 meter steeplechase with a 13:17.46.
Henley Siegrist, Claire Marshall, Zohrabian and Greenberg teamed to win the 4x100 relay with a 52.23 and Regan, Amy Burke, Bridget Grogan and Sheena Crawley finished second in the 4x800 relay.
Crawley took the 1,500 with a 5:00.59 and the 800 with a 2:29.90.
Marshall and Greenberg finished one and two in the 100 meter hurdles with a 17.61 and 15.75 while Caitlin Regan and Siegrist also finished first and second in the 400. Regan clocked a 59.55 and Siegrist a 1:00.31.
Marshall was first in the 400 hurdles with a 1:12.55 and Greenberg was third with a 1:18.50. Siegrist and Zohrabian were first and second in the 200 with a 26.96 and 28.12.
Siegrist, Zohrabian, Marshall and Regan won the 4x400 relay with a 4:15.84.
The Diplomats will compete at Richard Stockton next weekend.
