HAVERFORD, Pa. – The Franklin & Marshall women's track & field team competed at the Jack Pyrah Invitational hosted by Villanova. The invite featured teams for all three divisions and was a non-team scoring event.
Kristen Marinaccio, Olivia Bendit and Ariel Lefkovits placed in the top half in the 300-meter dash. Marinaccio ran 44.14 to place seventh and set a new school mark, followed by Bendit in eighth at 44.80 and Lefkovits turned in a 45.44 for ninth place. Megan Hunter ' 10 previously ran 44.33 in the 300.
Hannah Metheny took third in the weight throw with a distance of 36'-11.5" while Marinaccio set another school record and placed seventh in the long jump at 16'-8.5".
Sylvia Zohrabian matched the school record in the pole at 10'-0", but freshman Rebecca Swisher in her first collegiate event finished at 10'-11.75" to reset the mark.
F&M returns to action on Jan. 11th at the Kutztown Invitational.
