Series History: F&M leads 31-10 all-time against Lebanon Valley in a series that dates back to 1973. The Diplomats have won the last two meetings, with F&M's last victory coming on Jan. 2, 2012 with a 48-41 score in Annville. The last win for the Dutchmen came back on Dec. 17, 2007 with an 84-74 victory in Lancaster. The Diplomats are 14-6 all-time at home against Lebanon Valley.
Against Swarthmore, F&M dominates the all-time series 35-10. These two teams first met back in 1977, with the Diplomats cruising to a 105-41 victory. F&M has won the last four contests against the Garnet with the last win coming back on Feb. 11, 2012 in a 64-47 win. The Diplomats own a 17-4 record at home against Swarthmore, with the Garnet's last victory in Lancaster coming back in 2010.
Last Time Out For F&M: A career-high 29 points from Alexa Barbush led Franklin & Marshall to a 69-59 victory over Juniata on Tuesday, Dec. 18th in non-conference action. The Diplomats improved to 4-5 with the win, while the Eagles fell to 6-3.
Barbush scored 19 points in the second half and shot 12-of-18 from the floor on the night. The senior guard chipped in on the defensive end as well, recording a season-high six steals.
Strong free-throw shooting down the stretch, paced a 10-2 run by F&M to close out the game and preserve the 10-point victory.
Elizabeth Snyder joined Barbush in double-figure scoring with 12 points on 3-of-7 shooting. Emma Lisle was strong in the paint, pulling down 15 rebounds, including 12 on the defensive end.
The Diplomats were dominant under the basket, outrebounding the Eagles 46-25 on the game. F&M shot well from the floor with a 48.3 percent effort, while Juniata shot 36.7 percent.
