Box Score BALTIMORE, Md. - Franklin & Marshall fell to Johns Hopkins 1-0 in Centennial Conference (CC) men's soccer action on Saturday night in Baltimore. The Diplomats drop to 7-3 overall and 1-3 in CC play, while the Blue Jays improve to 4-4-1 and 2-2-1 CC.
JHU recorded the lone score of the contest in the 22nd minute as Matt Dunne finished a feed from Kenny DeStefano with a shot from the left flank into the bottom right corner of the net to give the Blue Jays the 1-0 victory.
F&M outshot Hopkins 20-15, while JHU held a 7-6 edge in corner kicks.
T.J. White totaled seven stops in the loss for F&M, while Hopkins' Nick Cerrone notched nine saves in the win.
The Diplomats are back in action at home on Tuesday against DeSales in non-conference action. Game time is set for 7:00 p.m.
