Swisher Takes First to Pace F&M; Resets School Mark

KUTZTOWN, Pa. – Rebecca Swisher turned in the top distance in the pole vault and reset her own school mark to pace Franklin & Marshall at the Kutztown Collegiate Invitational Friday. The event featured teams from Division II and III and was a non-team scoring invite.

Swisher finished with a distance of 11'-5.75" in the field of 15 participants. Kristen Marinaccio jumped 16'-3.25" to place fourth in the long jump and Morgan Gray took third in the triple jump at 33'-1". 

Martha Stefaniak finished up the field events for F&M with a second place finish in the shot put with a throw of 38'-1.25".

Larissa Kehne and Tessa Grebey placed fourth in seventh respectively in the 800-meter. Kehne crossed at 2:45.21 and Grebey finished with a time of 2:59.59.

F&M returns to action on Friday at Susquehanna.
