Series History: F&M dominates the all-time series with Washington College 22-6 and own an 11-3 record at home against the Shorewomen. The Diplomats picked up a victory in the last meeting between these Centennial Conference (CC) schools, 70-56, on Jan. 30, 2012 in Chestertown.
Against Dickinson, F&M leads 39-28 in a series that dates back to 1974. Overall the Diplomats are 20-11 at home against the Red Devils and 14-17 on the road. F&M has picked up a victory in each of the last three meetings, with the last coming back on Feb. 18, 2012 in a 63-58 win in Carlisle.
The Diplomats own a 34-31 advantage over McDaniel in a series that dates back to 1975. At home, F&M is an impressive 19-10 against the Green Terror and have won the last two meetings in Lancaster. These teams last squared off on Dec. 1, 2012 when McDaniel pulled out a 71-70 overtime victory in Westminster.
Last Time Out For F&M: Thirteen Diplomats recorded points with two reaching double-figures as F&M rolled past Bryn Mawr 79-45 on Saturday afternoon. The victory improved the Diplomats' record to 5-9, 2-7 CC, while the Owls fell to 1-12, 0-9 CC.
The bench played a key role in the contest for F&M, outscoring the Owls' reserves 29-0 on the afternoon. The Diplomats shot 46 percent from the floor, while the F&M defense held Bryn Mawr to only 31 percent shooting.
Alexa Barbush led the team with 20 points, while adding eight assists and five steals. Elizabeth Snyder joined her in double-figures with 14 points and tacked on eight rebounds.
