Series History: F&M is 30-36 all-time against Johns Hopkins in a series that dates back to 1976. The Blue Jays have won the last nine meetings against the Diplomats, with the last coming in a 68-40 victory back on Feb. 14, 2012 in Baltimore. F&M is 13-19 all-time on the road against Johns Hopkins, with its last win in Baltimore coming back on Dec. 2, 2008 in a 54-52 decision.
Against Haverford, the Diplomats are an impressive 25-5 in a series that began in 1984. F&M plays well on the road against the Fords, owning a 12-2 record in Haverford. Last time out, the Fords escaped Lancaster with a 55-46 win back on Nov. 29, 2012. The Diplomats last win in the series occurred back on Jan. 28, 2012 when F&M defeated Haverford 64-61 in Lancaster.
Last Week for F&M: All three of the Diplomats' contests last week were decided by three points or less as F&M escaped the stretch with a 1-2 mark. The Diplomats started out the week strong, picking up a thrilling 55-54 victory against Washington at home off of a game-winning layup from Elizabeth Snyder with under a second left in regulation.
F&M traveled to Dickinson on Thursday to battle the Red Devils, but fell short in a tough 55-54 loss. The Diplomats had an opportunity to escape with a victory in the closing seconds of the contest but had a game-winning jumper blocked as time expired.
Last week came to an end with a 60-57 loss to McDaniel at home on Saturday. F&M held the lead for the entire contest until the Green Terror scored the final seven points in regulation to hand the DIplomats a three-point defeat.
