Watch Live | Live Stats | Juniata Highlights

Series History:  Saturday will mark the 105th meeting between these two teams. The series started in Carlisle on Oct. 30, 1889, with a 10-0 Dickinson win. The teams gathered again on Nov. 28th of that year, with F&M posting a 22-0 shutout. The Diplomats lead the series 61-40-3, but Dickinson has won 20 of the last 24 meetings.

The Wagon:  Since 1963, the F&M Diplomats and Dickinson Red Devils have played for a model of the wagon that transported both teams to play each other in the two 1889 meetings. A gift of F&M Athletic Director J. Shober Barr and Dickinson A.D. Dave Eavenson, the trophy is meant to symbolize the friendly gridiron rivalry between the two institutions. F&M holds a 25-22 advantage since the inception of the trophy game, including an 18-year victory streak from 1970 until 1987.

The Last Meeting: Franklin & Marshall scored 22 points in the second quarter, to erase a 14-point deficit, and defeat Dickinson 36-28 and left Carlisle with the Conestoga Wagon Trophy for second time since 2003.

E.J. Schneider finished with 260 yards on 23-for-36 passing and two scores through air. The junior also picked up a two more on the ground.

Lamont Jackson had 95 yards on 16 carries and Frank Strumolo finished with 44 on 16 touches.

Tim Muller led the receiving corps with 109 yards on seven receptions and a score. He added a two-point conversion and an interception. Jordan Zackery had 70 yards and a touchdown and Paul McGann finished with 47 yards.

Devin Hunter had four key punts that averaged almost 48 yards for the Diplomats. Two went inside the twenty, with one around the 10 yard line and the other on the five. Another one of his punts soared in the air with enough hang time to allow the punt unit to be in position when Dickinson muffed the punt.

Sam Massaro led the defense with nine tackles (6s, 3a) including one for a loss. Ryan Young and Brendan Wengerter both finished with seven stops, with Wengerter picking up 1.5 sacks and three tackles for a loss.
