WASHINGTON, D.C. - No. 14 Franklin & Marshall's women's squash team dropped an 8-1 decision to No. 13 George Washington on Friday night. The Diplomats fall to 10-8 with the defeat, while the Colonials move to 10-7.
Cris Margaret Frias earned the lone win for F&M at the No. 6 position. Frias topped Elizabeth Tapley in four games, 10-12, 11-7, 11-6, 11-5, to nab her fifth straight win.
Several Diplomats captured in a game in losing efforts, with No. 2 Roxanna Mead, No. 4 Jazmin Matos, No. 7 Elizabeth Gatling, No. 8 Dana Rapisarda, and No. 9 Krista Lancione each coming out on top in one game in their losses.
F&M returns home tomorrow to take on No. 6 Cornell at 3:30 p.m. at the Mayser Center Squash Courts.
